Where The Value is in This Weekend’s EPL Games That The Sportsbooks Don’t Want You To Find: Premier League Week 15 Picks

Winter is a grueling time for EPL players and managers. After a couple of busy weeks that have seen the top sides play in European competition midweek and EPL games at the weekend, concentration and mentality will be important factors in successfully battling through the fatigue and getting a result this week.

Premier League Week 15 Predictions

Mentality is Crucial

England's top six clubs enter another Premier League matchday off the back of midweek European duties as the EPL calendar continues to separate the strong from the weak. As fitness levels are tested, the on-pitch mentality will begin to factor in which clubs will be the cream of the crop. Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham resume their top-three battle at the summit of the EPL standings, but which side can overcome fatigue and maintain a winner's state of mind?

Manchester City vs Fulham Predictions

Fulham @ Manchester City, Saturday, November 5 at 10 am ET

Following a slim 1-0 success at Leicester City, thanks to an emphatic Kevin De Bruyne free-kick, Manchester City returned to action with a Champions League group-stage win when defeating Sevilla 3-1 at home this past Wednesday. City's victorious outing against the Spanish extended their home form to an impressive 14-game undefeated streak, and they've notably netted at least three goals in all but one of those games.

Pep Guardiola and his defending Premier League champions will remain on home soil this weekend as they welcome newly promoted side Fulham. And with 4-0 and 6-0 wins over Fulham's fellow newly promoted sides Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, the Citizens will be confident they can outclass the Cottagers.

The West London side doesn't boast much historic form when facing Manchester City, losing nine consecutive EPL fixtures while failing to register a single goal in their previous five meetings with the club. Recent performances, however, will undoubtedly help Fulham forget this. Still, despite accumulating more points (19) throughout 13 matches than they have in their previous two EPL campaigns combined, a trip to the Etihad won't be as forgiving as their most recent domestic encounters have been against the likes of Everton, Leeds, and Aston Villa.

This season Fulham has found joy in the final third against Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Newcastle. It wouldn't be surprising to see them collect a consolation goal at City's daunting Etihad fortress. But ultimately, the Citizens cannot be stopped in front of the goal when performing for the home crowd, resulting in another scoring frenzy for Guardiola's men. From six EPL home fixtures this season, Manchester City has scored 27 goals, thus making the over 3.5 goals a tempting wager for your Premier League Week 15 picks.

Chelsea vs. Arsenal Predictions

Arsenal @ Chelsea, Sunday, November 6 at 7 am ET

The Gunners make a short trip across London City on Sunday morning for a delectable Premier League derby clash against their capital rivals Chelsea. Having already handed defeats to Liverpool and Tottenham, Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal squad will be hopeful they can maintain the top spot of the EPL table with their 11th win.

It will be intriguing to see how Arteta deals with his second “Big Six” away clash of the season, as the first road trip saw Arsenal walk away from Old Trafford with a 3-1 defeat and, notably, their only loss of the season. Derby fixtures are always tricky, and the Blues have been a robust team at Stamford Bridge all season long, owning five wins and three draws.

Chelsea boss Graham Potter wasn't welcomed with hugs and kisses upon returning to his old club Brighton last week; quite the opposite, in fact. Brighton delivered Potter's men a 4-1 hammering at the Amex Stadium, but this didn't affect his side's confidence levels as they bounced back with a Champions League victory over Dinamo Zagreb.

Looking at trends won't do us any favors for this meeting, and the sportsbooks can barely separate each team with plus-money on either side. Chelsea is the slight favorite, but this London derby has been massively competitive in recent years, as the last 10 meetings have produced five wins for Arsenal, four Chelsea wins, and one draw.

Each team has played conservative soccer when involved in big games this season, which is why the under 2.5 goals market is one to consider for your Premier League Week 15 picks. However, there's no one hungrier to get on the score sheet than Arsenal's former talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who's been highly vocal about his mistreatment by Arteta last season. In 11 appearances in a Chelsea shirt this season, Aubameyang has only produced three goals, but if there's a moment where he can outshine Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz, it will be this weekend.

Tottenham vs Liverpool Predictions

Liverpool @ Tottenham Sunday, November 6 at 11:30 am ET, on Peacock

Tottenham Hotspur will enter Matchweek 15 oozing with confidence after a last-minute goal against Marseille guaranteed their position in the Champions League Round of 16. However, they will be mourning the loss through injury of influential South Korean goal maker and getter Son Heung-min, who is likely out until the New Year. Antonio Conte's men will join three other EPL teams in the UCL knockout stages as English soccer proves, once again, why it's the strongest league worldwide. And one of their fellow English UCL qualifying teams will be their weekend opponents, Liverpool.

While Spurs have been almost unstoppable this season, Liverpool has often bewildered us. What kind of team has successive losses against two EPL relegation-battling teams only then to destroy Napoli's 21-game unbeaten run? That would be Jurgen Klopps' squad, ladies and gentlemen.

The title-challenging Reds side of last season is very present in the UCL tournament, collecting 15 points from six games. Amazingly, they've managed to earn a mere 14 points in 12 EPL games; the math doesn't add up.

This unpredictable Reds team will arrive in London and likely go against all leading statistics to salvage a point in a game neither side will want to lose, and I wouldn't expect either defense to fall victim on more than one occasion either. Why? Liverpool has struggled in front of goal, scoring just three in their last four Premier League matches - three of which were 1-0 scorelines. Spurs will miss the influential Son Heung-min, who doesn’t just contribute an important number of goals but creates many of them too.

A 1-1 scoreline is a viable EPL Week 15 prediction for this meeting, and although we're presented with some added juice, the under 3.5 goals at -195 feels like an absolute bargain in the Premier League Week 15.
